The Woolwich Tramshed is a listed building in the heart of Woolwich. The building was originally a generating station to provide power for the local Tram system between 1916 and 1953. It has had many uses since then but has primarily been a place for gathering and entertainment and today it’s no different! Available for hire are several spaces. The main auditorium can seat up to 150 people in a tiered seating arrangement or can be used as a hall space with seats retracted. Sound system, stage lighting, projector and a large screen available, making it a flexible space with a variety of potential uses. Studio spaces are well suited for meetings of up to 35 people, or workshops for smaller groups. Portable audio-visual equipment available. Media suite will suit a meeting of up to 8 people, one-to-one sessions or conference calls. Large TV screen and soundbar for presentations or meetings as standard, additional audio-visual equipment available.
